Why National Park Fees Matter: Preserving Paradise

National park fees play a vital role in safeguarding the pristine beauty of Raja Ampat. Your contribution directly supports:

-
Marine conservation: Rangers patrol the waters to prevent illegal fishing and logging, ensuring the delicate marine ecosystem thrives.
-
Community development: Fees help fund local awareness programs and support homestay operators in complying with park regulations.
-
Manta ray protection: Specialized environmental initiatives aim to protect these majestic creatures and their habitats.
As a dive center, we're committed to raising awareness about the importance of these fees. It's mandatory to have a marine park card to visit and dive into the stunning Raja Ampat islands. This fee helps preserve the park's 2179 islands, 141 villages, and 70,000 residents while protecting its vast marine area of over 8,034 square kilometres."
